We Noodle Outside the Box

The ultimate comfort food, our frozen egg noodles are made fresh daily and immediately frozen, naturally preserving all of the nutrients and protein.  This process captures that freshly-made noodle taste that will transport your taste buds right on back to Grandma’s kitchen. 

Mixing and Kneading

Making Grandma’s noodles starts with just a few simple ingredients: flour, eggs, water, and a pinch of salt. As the machine mixes and kneads the dough to that perfect, smooth texture, the comforting smell fills the air, instantly transporting you back to Grandma’s kitchen, where everything always smelled like home.

Extruding

Next comes the magic of extruding. The dough is pressed through a bronze die, giving the noodles their signature texture—rough enough to hold onto sauces and broths. It’s this step that makes each noodle perfectly imperfect, capturing the homemade feel that you can taste in every bite.

Pressing

Once the egg noodle dough is extruded, it’s pressed into a large, smooth sheet to get just the right width for Grandma’s wide egg noodles. We dust it with a light coating of starch, ensuring the noodles stay perfectly separated, so they’re ready to shine in your soups, stews, and casseroles without sticking together.

Cutting & Shaping

After the noodle dough is pressed into a sheet, it's cut into the perfect length and width to create Grandma's wide egg noodles. Each cut is exacting to make sure the egg noodles are just right—thick enough to hold their shape in soups and stews, yet tender with every bite. This attention to detail ensures every noodle has the right balance of texture and heartiness, ready for your favorite comfort meals.

Packaging

Each batch of Grandma’s noodles is hand-inspected to ensure top quality. We weigh each package with care, making sure you get the perfect portion every time. Once inspected and weighed, the noodles are packed up, boxed, and quickly frozen, locking in that homemade taste and ready for your next meal.
