Quick & Easy Dinners
A quick, cozy weeknight noodle dish made with Grandma's Wide Egg Noodles or Thick-Cut Spaghetti, just a handful of ingredients for a rich, savory bowl.
If you've spent any time on social media lately, chances are you've seen it: soy sauce butter noodles, the viral pairing that sounds almost too simple to be good — and yet somehow is exactly that good. It's the kind of recipe that gets passed around because it works, not because it's flashy. No long ingredient list, no fancy technique, just a handful of things you probably already have in your kitchen coming together into something rich, savory, and deeply satisfying.
The method couldn't be easier. Boil your noodles, save a splash of that starchy pasta water before you drain (it's the secret to a silky, clingy sauce), then toss everything together in a hot pan with melted butter, a small hit of soy sauce, and a handful of parmesan. That's it. In just a few minutes you've got a bowl that tastes like it took a lot more effort than it did — salty, buttery, a little umami, a little nutty from the cheese, and comforting in the way only a warm bowl of noodles can be.

Ingredients
- 1 Grandma's Wide Egg Noodles or Thick-Cut Spaghetti (16oz bag)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons pasta water
Directions
Cook the noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook 1 Grandma's Wide Egg Noodles or Thick-Cut Spaghetti (16oz bag) according to package directions until al dente. Before draining, reserve 4 tablespoons pasta water.
Melt the butter: While the noodles cook, melt 4 tablespoons butter in a large pan over medium heat.
Combine: Add the drained noodles to the pan with the melted butter. Pour in 2 teaspoons soy sauce and the reserved 4 tablespoons pasta water, tossing to coat evenly.
Finish with parm: Sprinkle in 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese and toss again until the noodles are glossy and well coated. Serve immediately.
